How does one report the total points possible on a quiz (if the user picked all correct answers)? This %CORRECT_SCORE% does not seem to be it. It gives a very small # (compared to the total # of points possible).

    Hi Rob,

The %CORRECT_SCORE% variable displays the percentage of correct answers given by the user. For e.g., if there are 2 questions in the quiz and the user gives 1 right answer out of those 2. Then the variable will show the value 50. If you use the above variable like this %CORRECT_SCORE%% then it will apprehend ‘%’ sign at the end of the value like 50%.

The %POINT_SCORE% variable display the points as per the answer recorded by the user. For this you just need to assign points to the answer fields.

Hope this helped to resolve your query.

    Regards,
    Kriti

yes, understand all that. What I want to display is the total number of points that could have been achieved if they answered ALL questions correctly. There seems to be no meta variable for that (it would sum up points for all correct answers in the quiz and give a total). I could then say you got 48 points out of a possible 127. (for example). the 127 is impossible to display right now unless I mod the code.

e.g. I want to display something like:

You scored %POINT_SCORE% points out of a total possible %TOTAL_POSSIBLE_POINTS% points.

    Hi Rob,

Sorry but we don’t have %TOTAL_POSSIBLE_POINTS% template variable. However, you can manually display total possible points for the quiz.

    Kriti

would be very easy to add. just calculate a SUM(points) where answer=correct in the db…

Statistics in the data table will show the change process. The white screen test is appropriate for use while working or playing games. There are several colors available for your selection, including blue, orange, green, and custom screen.

This means that all of the points EARNED by the student across a variety of assessments are added up and divided by the dinosaur game total number of points POSSIBLE to determine the percentage final grade.
