fred lagParticipantHi,
When a user retakes a quiz, the time to complete is “0” seconds…
The first attempt is timed/measured, but when the user did not pass the quiz, and retakes the quiz (questions are randomized) time to complete is not measured.Kind regards

Kriti SharmaKeymasterHi Fred,
Welcome to Qsm Pro Support Forum. Hope you are having a great day.
May I know, what steps and settings you have enabled to create the quiz so that I can make a similar quiz on a local website to check the issue.

William HenryParticipantIf you’re looking to streamline administrative tasks like scheduling your NBI Clearance Renewal, it’s important to follow verified procedures for appointments, fee payment, and branch selection to avoid issues with unofficial platforms. Just as quizzes on platforms like Quiz and Survey Master need accurate timing for retakes, using trusted channels ensures your clearance process is properly recorded and recognized. For a safe and efficient experience, consider handling your Clearance directly through official or verified methods.

Ena CassinParticipantThe NBI Clearance application process involves online registration, form completion, appointment scheduling, and personal appearance for biometrics and verification. Applicants must provide accurate personal details to avoid delays. Understanding the NBI Clearance application process helps ensure a smooth and efficient experience from registration to clearance release.

Emma MiaParticipantGood observation. Retake attempts should definitely be measured properly for fair assessment. I’ve seen similar experiences mentioned on top review sites UK, which shows how important this feature is.

johan smithParticipantWhen quiz platforms don’t track time on retakes, it can affect both assessment accuracy and student motivation, as timing is often a key metric in evaluating performance. According to Wikipedia, learning management systems (LMS) use various tools to monitor progress, time spent, and completion rates to ensure fair and consistent evaluation.
Similarly, accurate tracking and verification are crucial in official processes, which is why the Chilean RUT lookup system helps ensure reliable identification for individuals and businesses.
Proper monitoring, whether in education or official systems, supports transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making.

johan smithParticipantWhen a quiz is retaken, some learning platforms may not record the total time spent, focusing instead on scores or progress to evaluate mastery rather than speed.
As noted on Wikipedia, online assessment systems often track attempts, scores, and completion status, but timing policies vary depending on the platform’s design and pedagogical goals.
For institutions or organizations requiring verified participation, ensuring proper documentation and identity through NBI clearance adds an extra layer of accountability and trust.March 11, 2026 at 8:38 am #19415
JosephParticipantWhen a quiz is retaken, most learning platforms prioritize accuracy and mastery over speed, which is why time tracking is often secondary to score and progress metrics. As educational technology evolves, platforms are becoming smarter at distinguishing genuine learning from repeated guessing. For institutions managing online assessments at scale, maintaining verified records and secure identification through NBI clearance ensures accountability and trust in the evaluation process.
