Hi Chris,
I will forward your request on the priority basis. But we do need a few days to figure out the cause of this bug and fix it. I request you to please have a little patience so that we will be able to fix this issue soon.
Kind regards,
Kriti SharmaDecember 3, 2019 at 10:13 pm #1360Chris BarryParticipantI understand. What I’d love to know is that we’ll be able to recover the emails that were not added because of this problem. I hope they’re stored somewhere on our server so that we can add them once this is fixed. If that’s the case, the level of urgency goes down a bit 🙂
December 4, 2019 at 6:20 am #1364Kriti SharmaKeymasterHi Chris,
We have checked the Mailchimp settings and apply the same on our test site. The only difference is mail chimp API key and mail list name. And we have successfully recorded valid email addresses into our Mailchimp account. Only the fake email id’s don’t get added into the Mailchimp account.
So here are the few suggestions to resolve the issue:
1) We suggest you to re-copy and paste your API key from your mail chimp account.
2) We noticed that your mail list name has a ‘full stop’. Some API does not work if there are symbols in the API call. We suggest you to use a new mail list with a mail list name that does not contain any symbol or punctuation marks.
3) The next thing to do is to check for plugin conflict or theme conflict. To do this, disable all of the plugins all at once and enable one by one by checking which one is causing the conflict. If this does not resolve the issue, change the website’s theme to another theme and check whether the issue is resolved or not.
If all of these troubleshooting steps do not work. Then we will need to troubleshoot the issue by looking at the codes. Also, we are not sure whether the lost email addresses can be recovered or not. For this, we need to look more into details.
Do let me know, whether these suggestions works or not. So that we can move forward in providing you the proper solution.
Kind Regards,
Kriti SharmaDecember 6, 2019 at 10:35 pm #1397Chris BarryParticipantHi, Kriti.
I did #1 and #2 of your suggested steps. I will test it and let you know. #3 is much more complex, and I think if I had to change themes I’d probably change from QSM to another solution instead. We use Avada, which I believe is the most widely-used theme on WP. If not, it’s close. I can’t imagine QSM not working with that.
Please let me know what we need to do to try to recover the emails we missed. There are probably not many of them, but they are very important to us!
thank you…
Chris

I have to talk to the development team whether we can recover the missed emails or not.
Kind regards,

If you have enabled the quiz option -> Store the responses in the database.
The user-submitted results will have been recorded and customer should be able to see them under WordPress admin -> Quizzes/Surveys -> Results
In the results there is email address recorded for each individual quiz submitted, you will have to manually copy the email address from each record.
Kind Regards,

Do you have any update on this problem? As I shared, I took the first two steps you suggested, and I’m not willing to change themes. I can’t imagine that’s the problem, but if there is simply no solution here, I’m going to need to find another quiz solution.
Please advise. Thank you…
Chris
December 17, 2019 at 6:31 am #1555Kriti SharmaKeymasterHi Chris,
Have you tried these suggestions, we suggested to you above:
1) We suggest you to re-copy and paste your API key from your mail chimp account.
2) We noticed that your mail list name has a ‘full stop’. Some API does not work if there are symbols in the API call. We suggest you to use a new mail list with a mail list name that does not contain any symbol or punctuation marks.
You have told us that you will try no. 1 & 2 and then you will let me know. Please read the resolution we gave to you and try to implement it.

Thanks…
Chris

KritiDecember 18, 2019 at 9:11 am #1593Kriti SharmaKeymasterHi,
We request you to create a staging website with the following.
1) WordPress default theme
2) QSM
3) QSM mail chimp addon
So that we can check the cause of the issue.
Kind Regards,
KritiDecember 18, 2019 at 6:43 pm #1612Chris BarryParticipantKriti, the situation has “evolved” 🙂
We are leaving MailChimp in favor of ActiveCampaign. Do you guys have an integration with AC? I think we can control the contact creation a different way, so that part of the problem is going to just go away. What would be hugely helpful is if we could get the quiz results (a numerical score) into AC. Is that doable?
Thanks…
Chris
December 19, 2019 at 4:53 am #1614Kriti SharmaKeymasterHi Chris,
We have an addon for Campaign Monitor integration but not Active Campaign right now. We are working on to create an addon for Active Campaign too but it will take some time.
Kind Regards,
KritiDecember 21, 2019 at 4:59 pm #1638Chris BarryParticipantOK, the I think we’re good to go for now. How can I stay updated so that I’ll know when this integration is available? If it’s going to be a long time, I suppose Zapier is an option…
December 22, 2019 at 1:40 pm #1639Kriti SharmaKeymasterWe are planning for Active Campaign Integration but it will take some time. Zapier is also good for this purpose.
Regards,
