    Been just a day working with my Flashcards plugin and rather aggravating.

    Two big issues:

    Says “There was an error when saving the flashcards. Please try again.” yet seems to save them AND plugin page keeps saying “You have version 1.1.0 installed. Update to 1.1.0.”

    I have updated yet the update message keeps appearing.

    Please advise – not a great product for which I paid – thanks.

    Hi,

    When you click on save flashcards button, the javascript loaded in the browser will send the data to web server to save the flashcards, and it will “listen” to a response from the server. In this case, it does not get a response, so it shows the error message “There was an error when saving the flashcards. Please try again.”.

    This could happen if the browser is offline or WordPress has already logged out.

    We suggest you to clear any cache plugin or server cache’s cache content, and clear browser history too.

    Re-login to WordPress, this will ensure a “fresh connection” between browser and server and there should not be an error message.

    If you are still seeing that error message and everything is saving properly, then there could be something on the web server preventing a response.

    As for plugin asking to update, this will happen if there is a problem with WordPress version check.

    In this case, deactivating and reactivating the plugin should clear the message.

    Thanks for the information, tried all those over the last couple of days many times and does not work; still getting the message that I need to update the plugin…
