    Hi,

    Here are the few suggestions to resolve the issue:

    1) We suggest you to re-copy and paste your API key from your mail chimp account.

    2) Some API does not work if there are symbols in the API call. We suggest you to use a new mail list with a mail list name that does not contain any symbol or punctuation marks.

    3) The next thing to do is to check for plugin conflict or theme conflict. To do this, disable all of the plugins all at once and enable one by one by checking which one is causing the conflict. If this does not resolve the issue, change the website’s theme to another theme and check whether the issue is resolved or not.

    If all of these troubleshooting steps do not work. Then we will need to troubleshoot the issue by looking at the codes.

    Do let me know, whether these suggestions works or not. So that we can move forward in providing you the proper solution.

    Hi,
    1) I’am afraid the mailchimp tab is no longer visible (or I can’t find it anymore)
    2) I can only have 1 list and it does not contain any symbol or punctuation marks.
    I notice that I have in my download area a new version of my add-on how can I upload it? I tried bur failed.

    Hi,

    On your website, in the quiz’s mailchimp tab, I can see the following error message.

    Erreur ! There was an error with your getting your MailChimp lists. Incorrect response from MailChimp. Please try setting up your API Key again on the Addon Settings page.

    The plugin will show this error when it is not able to get mailing list from customer’s mailchimp account. Which is why in the option -> Subscribe user to list: is blank.

    The option -> Subscribe user to list: cannot be blank. It has to show a mailing list from your mailchimp account.

    QSM mail chimp addons plugin uses WordPress functions wp_remote_get or wp_remote_post to connect with Mail Chimp’s API. Both wp_remote_get and wp_remote_post functions requires PHP cURL extension to work.

    I visited you WordPress site health page.

    You will have to find out why there is a cURL error on their website. Fixing this cURL error should fix QSM mailchimp addon’s connection problem with Mail Chimp’s API

    The following are my suggestions to troubleshoot cURL issue.

    1) Check with web hosting whether there is a restriction on communicating with external server using cURL.

    2) Ask web hosting company to increase cURL time out.

    3) Disable plugins and theme to find out which plugin is causing this cURL issue

    Once the cURL error is gone, and if there is still a problem getting mailing list, you will have to check the mail chimp API key.

    Hi Kriti,
    It did. Thank you.

    It sends to mailchimp the email and the name (mistakenly listed as forname) and not the first name… What am I doing wrong?
    Also the quiz has 31 questions and if you provide 31 write answer the result only count 30 write answers. Can you help?

    Hi,

    As you are using French on your website.

    Maybe It’s a translation by MailChimp because the word Prénom translates to Forename in English.

    Look for any empty blank spaces at the end of the answers and then see if the issue is resolved or not. Also please update Qsm to the latest version.
