    I’ve created 2 exams where the option to list the questions/answers randomly is activated.
    While trying to create a 3rd exam, I get an error message saying:

    This quiz has the “Are the questions random?” option enabled. The pages below will not be used while that option is enabled. To turn off, go to the “Options” tab and set that option to “No”.

    Is there a limit on how many exams can use this option? Or what is the criteria to display this error?

    Please advise. Thank you.

    EDIT:

    I just checked the initial 2 exams I had created that had the option of random questions/answers enabled, and now not even those are accepting the option!
    How frustrating… and what a waste of time.

    Is there any solution to this?

    Hello there,

    That notice will be shown if one of the below options or all are enabled.

    • How many questions per page would you like?
    • Are the questions random?
    • How many questions should be loaded for quiz?

    It sounds like the random question feature may have an issue with how questions are being selected or loaded. Checking the question pool, randomization settings, and related configuration would be a good starting point; FPSC updates the CSS syllabus periodically, so candidates should always check the latest paper patterns and marks distribution before starting preparation.
