ParticipantWe have tried both the content and redirect to a page, but each time the quiz is submitted, the result page just has a spinning image.
The quiz is here: https://ichoosemybestlife.com/quiz/rest-quiz-test/

KeymasterHi there,
I just took the quiz and yes, the results page is showing the spinning icon after the result is being submitted. May I know did you try version 7.0 of the plugin or not? If not please update the plugin and let me know do you still experience this issue or not?
If the problem persists even after updating the plugin I will ask our development team to look into the issue.
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Kind regards,
KritiJuly 23, 2020 at 1:40 pm #5034[email protected]
ParticipantI responded but I don’t see my response after marking it as private reply. Confirming you received that I upgraded to v 7 and that didn’t fix the issue.

KeymasterHi,
There are a lot of javascript errors on the webpage when it is loaded.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XCcEtHP67vffGSjdMUpt10UOWoqftbOe/view?usp=sharing
These errors has nothing to do with our plugin, but may cause it to malfunction.
You need to get your developer to fix all those javascript errors.
We did a simple test quiz on the website. This test quiz has only one question.
We can see the results page after submitting this test quiz.
The following is a screen-cast of my test.

Given the above circumstances, I cannot be sure whether it is an issue with our plugin or an issue caused by third party software errors on customer’s website.
Therefore, please create a staging website with a WordPress default theme and no third party plugins. Install only QSM plugins and replicate the issue. Our developer will need an environment free of other third party software errors in order for us to troubleshoot any QSM issue.
Kind regards,

ParticipantThe PS2 BIOS file is a crucial component that allows the PlayStation 2 console to boot up and run games. It contains the system’s essential instructions for managing hardware functions like memory, graphics, and game loading. When using emulators such as PCSX2 or AetherSX2, a real PS2 BIOS file is required for accurate emulation. It’s important to note that legally, the BIOS file should be dumped from an actual PS2 console you own. Downloading it from unofficial sources can lead to legal issues and potential risks to your system’s security.

ParticipantHi there,
I’ve come across a similar issue before, and in many cases, the spinning result page is caused by either a JavaScript conflict or an issue with how the plugin handles AJAX on the theme or custom redirect page. A few things worth checking:
Browser Console Errors – Open the browser’s developer tools (usually F12) and check the Console tab after submitting the quiz. Any errors there can point to a conflict.
Caching/Optimization Plugins – Sometimes caching plugins minify or defer scripts in a way that breaks QSM’s functionality. Try disabling those temporarily.
Page Settings – If you’re redirecting to a custom results page, make sure it’s published, not set to private, and doesn’t contain any conflicting shortcodes or custom scripts.
As a side note, I’ve also seen cases where using a very lightweight redirect or static content result page helped eliminate the issue. If the spinning persists, try switching to the “Thank You” text result type and gradually reintroduce elements.
Also, as someone who works a lot with content tools and quizzes, I’ve noticed that fun extras—like crosswords or brain games—sometimes engage users post-quiz. For inspiration, I’ve occasionally used tools like krydsordfinder.dk to help create word games that keep users on site longer or to build themed challenges around quiz topics.
Let me know if the issue persists after checking the above. Happy to troubleshoot further!
