    We are getting incorrect final score results typically showing one more question wrong than the quiz taker actually got wrong. Our test pulls 75 questions from a total queue of 140. Not in every occasion but on the majority the results will show 70/75 but in reviewing the results only 4 questions are wrong or 73/75 but only 1 question is wrong. Our pass score is based on percentage and this is throwing off our results. We are not weighting our answered.

    Hello Scott,

    I am sorry to hear that you’ve been running an issue as reported. I’d like to help, but I am afraid can’t exactly replicate quiz configurations as what you’re having now. I think it would be esier for me to investigate it further by directly from your end. Yould you plase allow me access your site’s admin area? If so, please create a admin user for me with [email protected] email. Also please mention the link to the quiz you’re reporting.

    Kharis,

    I have created an account for you and you should get an email with the account setup. The Quiz in question is the “Referee Test” and a good example to check would be the test below as it shows a score of 71/75 but we can only locate 3 incorrect responses.

    Hello Scott,

    I saw you have 6 quizes. Should try all of them? Did you experience the issue with specific ones? What is the name of it?

    I also noticed your WordPress system is outdated. What will happen if you update it?

    Please focus on the “Referee Test” as I explained. You can use the following as an example of the issue. PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE any plugins or versions of WordPress. We are doing that as part of system enhancement next month.

    Hello there,

    I am sorry for the delay. After doing deeper investigation, I found the issue was on improper number value for “How many questions should be loaded for quiz? (Leave 0 to load all questions)” on quiz’ options. Edit you quiz and go to Options tab. I have made a duplicate quiz for testing and troubleshooting purpose — named “[duplicated] Referee Test”. I can use it for testing purpose.

    Sorry for the delay on my reply. I am not sure how to interpret your response. For our quiz we have 140 total questions but only want 75 questions to display when taking the test and the results should be calculated based on the 75 questions asked. Are you saying this is not possible? Or that we entered an invalid value into the field. Can you provide a little more clarity.

    Hello there,

    I have made a test by duplicating your “Referee Test” here. I have set all correct answers to the first options. Point for each correct answer set to 1. I tested to display all questions and chose all first options. I got score 100 — all correct. I also made random questions and only diplayed 5 items. I got score 100 when tested correct answers on those 5 questions. See the attached screenshots.

    This test means, no issue I found. You could try the “[copy] Referee Test” yourself. And let me know if you find any issue.

    Hi Lena,

    Welcome to QSM Pro support forum. Hope you are doing well.

    As I am unable to understand the issue by looking just at the screenshot. So i request you to please share the quizz’s URL and also the admin credentials of your website so that I can look into the issue.

    Make sure to set the message as private before sharing the credentials.
