Plugin is not generating a certificate.
1. I installed the plugin and activated it
2. I put in the KEY
3. I created a quiz (Fill in the blanks)
4. I enabled the certificate for this quiz
5. I set up the certificate; title, content (%POINT_SCORE%), logo URL from WP media library
6. I added %CERTIFICATE_LINK% variable to result pages
7 I preview the quizI am getting 404 page / when I download it shows notice: empty file, couldn’t download.
How do I set up the certificate plugin correctly?
July 6, 2020 at 5:44 am #4886Kriti SharmaKeymasterHi Mariusz,
Welcome to Qsm Pro Support Forum. Hope you are having a great day.
I just checked certificate addon my staging and the addon is working properly.
Can you please share the quizz’s url and also the admin credentials of your website? So that I can check why it’s not working on your website. Make sure to set the message as private before sharing the credentials.
Kind regards,

Still not working. This basically rules out plugin conflict.
Please inform me of the solution or let me know how to proceed.
If we cannot make it work, I will submit a request for a refund, as the plugin does not meet my requirements.

I am forwarding your issue to the development team. I will keep you posted as soon as I hear back from them.

KritiJuly 8, 2020 at 11:54 am #4909Kriti SharmaKeymasterHi Mariusz,
The certificates are generated properly and they are stored within certificates folder within the plugin.
This is a screenshot of the folder and the list of certificates in pdf files.

The problem here is you either has a security plugin or some kind of security code on their web hosting server that prevents browser from directly accessing the pdf files within the plugin’s certificates folder.
There could be an option on the web server which prevents hotlinking of files.
Please check and remove anything that will restrict the browser from accessing files within the plugin’s folder.
The following link is a direct link to the certificate and it should not be 404, unless server prevents access.
Please let us know whether the issue is resolved or not.
Kind regards,
KritiJuly 10, 2020 at 12:01 pm #4919Mariusz MireckiParticipantKriti, we don’t know how to fix it 🙁
I deactivated the security plugin – it didn’t help
I tried on another server – it didn’t helpI am waiting for the answer from hosting company.
Perhaps you have some experience with this kind of issue. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
July 10, 2020 at 12:59 pm #4920Kriti SharmaKeymasterHi Mariusz,
We didn’t experience any such issue before. Please let me know once you hear back from the hosting company. I will ask the the developer to look into the issue.

KritiJuly 11, 2020 at 4:21 am #4921Mariusz MireckiParticipantHi Kriti,
I got the info from the hosting company.
The issue lies in the names of the titles. They contain prohibited symbols. They changed the name of the pdf and the file worked well.
So, how do I change the default name of a generated pdf certificate? Ideally, I would like it to include the name of the site THEBLUETREE.
Looking forward to getting your response, Kriti.
All the best
