Hi,
I have built 67 quizzes for now. My question bank is getting large, and it takes more than 1 minute for my browser to display the available questions in the back office. The delay when accessing to the quizzes is normal from the user’s side. But I’m getting anxious for the future: should I not respect some limits?
My questions include MP3 sounds and png images. Do you advise me to do some backups?I’m quite satisfied with QSM plugins. Of course, I’ve found some limitations. But I always could manage to find another way to ask my questions, so that I achieved my purpose.
Thanks,

Welcome again to QSM Pro Support Forum.
I will have to talk to the development team regarding your query. I will be back to you tomorrow.
Kind regards,

Backing up does not speed up the website.
When a website is loading slowly, that indicates that the server resources are hitting it’s limits.
You have to increase your server resources eventually since your website content increases gradually.
It is the same as adding water to a container, it will overflow if you do not stop adding water.
Therefore, the only way to speed up the website is to increase the web processor speed and memory limit.. etc.. You will have to contact your web hosting for details in the costs of increasing server resources.
If it is not possible to increase server resources due to financial restrains. Then I am afraid the only way is to stop adding content to the website and stop adding new plugins too. Go through the whole website and see if there is anything that can be removed in order to lighten the server load.
Hope this helps.

We had log into your website to take a look at the issue.
Add Question From Question Bank, takes a long time to load.
In the network tab, it is showing that it takes a long time to complete the Ajax request.
This is screen-cast of our test on your website. You can see that all the Ajax requests are stalling for a long time and take a long time to complete.

This is an article explaining the information you see in the timing.
https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/network/reference#timing-explanation
Please try to check for plugin or theme conflict. To do this, disable all of the plugins all at once and enable one by one by checking which one is causing the conflict. If this does not resolve the issue, change the website’s theme to another theme and check whether the issue is resolved or not.
It would be better, if your web hosting company can assist in finding out what is stalling the Ajax request.
On our staging website. The Add Question From Question Bank pop up almost immediately.
It takes a short time to complete the Ajax request for the popup and inserting of question.
The following is a screen-cast of my test on our staging website.

Therefore, I don’t think it is an issue with our plugin.

Any news about this bug? I remind you that even when I deactivated all other plugins, even when I switched to other basic WP themes, it took a long time to display my questions. I realized that the recording you showed me does not use my question bank, but of course yours, which does not seem to be linked to media. I have the feeling that the problem comes from this point. I also have the feeling that some questions are not removed from QB even when they have been deleted from all quizzes. $129 is nothing in comparison to the time I spent to build all these quizzes. Some people ask for a refund, I don’t need a refund, I need your help.

We have recorded the problem of “slow loading time of questions while loading them from questions bank especially when they are linked to the media” as a bug and we will let you know as soon as we provide a fix.

Common limits include maximum database size, maximum table size, maximum number of rows per table, and maximum field size.cox internet provider It’s essential to consult the documentation of the DBMS being used to understand its specific limitations and plan database design accordingly.
