Hi, when using WordPress default editing interface, the sounds inserted in Flashcards (add media file…) do not appear in the end-user interface.
I asked for some help in wordpress.org forum but I got thrown away by their moderator because I made the choice to buy the premium bundle. Sad punishment for me. Then I emailed [email protected] for another problem three days ago. No response and I still wonder if I’ve made a good choice to purchase this product. The main site does not seem alive. And this forum contains many posts showing that some people are really unsatisfied. But the idea, the basis, is good. I’ve solved by myself (by chance ?) some problems, and I want to write here a few words to help people who could be stuck with the same problem.
I’ve purchased “The7 — Multi-Purpose Website Building Toolkit for WordPress” which is a customizable theme including some plugins. One of them, “Elementor” permits editing the pages, using shortcodes for example. When I edit the page containing the flashcards (linked by a shortcode) with the default editor, the sound does not appear as a MP3 player, it just shows as text in the block. It does not depend on the browser, the php version or WordPress version.
But when you switch for the “Elementor” editor, the page shows properly the MP3 player.
Of course, it means some more money to spend, and I was lucky to choose this toolkit. But I guess that this might be informative for some high-level users who might understand why switching the editor solves the problem.
Regards,
Jacques
