First: I have no clue about this, I need to create a survey. I am new to wordpress and everything and I need help
I’m struggeling with the result page of the plugin. I’ve created a survey which has 24 items, separated in 7 categories. There is no wrong or right, it is about the value which comes out at the end, and which gives me the information about how good/bad something is. Therefore I need the average results of the categories displayed.

The 24 items do have 4 answers with the 1 to 4 point, the also have extra text answers. How can i display the results in the needed way? I tried the template variables but the gaps wont fill in the points. Do i need to change something in the question-options? does every questions need to be categorized? If yes, how can I hide the category when i do have several questions displayed on one site, otherwise it looks horrible and way too full. Can this be changed in the css and if yes how?

Furthermore I need to change the message which pops up when a answer is required and not given. Can the text be changed in these popups?

Is it also possible to change the whole quiz container to make it more matchable to my website?

    Hii,

Welcome to QSM Pro Support Forum.

For this, after giving points to individual answers. You need to check the quiz graded as: “Points based” under ‘Options’ tab. and then on Results page template use %AVERAGE_CATEGORY_POINTS_X% – X: Category name – The average amount of points a specific category earned (template variable).

Replace X with the name of the category.

    Regards,
    Kriti

    Dear Kriti,

I already did that, but instead of a value i get a 0 as the result, which doesnt make any sense. The 4 answers have values from 1 to 4, so this cannot be right. I also chose the point based option. I dont know if it is poosible to get the results i want. To be clear again: I need the results that way: a user fulfills tehe survey of 7 categories, after that he gets a display of the average points he had in every category, just referring to his/hers answers, not referring to others who took the survey.
    Is this possible at all?

    Hi,

Did you replace X with the name of the category in the template variable? Make sure the Case of the category in the template variable must match with the Case as described in the questions.

Please remove space between category names. And see if the problem resolves or not.

    Hey,

i used the term in one test survey and it got the right values. But in my other survey, which has more categories as well as items it does not work. The values are totally different, sometimes even 0… i cannot use the plugin this way..

    Hi Amelie,

Yes, I am feeling better now. Thank you so much for your cooperation.

Can you please explain what do you mean by this: “if there is a possibility to create and radar chart based on the results of the categories?”

So that I can help you properly.

    Regards,
    Kriti

Good to hear, that your feeling better.

the thing i would like to do is to generate out of the average category points a radar chart. So e.g. I do have 7 categories, the plugin calculates the average points of every category. Is there a possibility to generate further a radar chart which uses the values generated before of the average points of each category? I mean like another plugin which can use the API of QSM or something like that?

    regards,
    Amelie

Sorry, Amelie. But, we don’t have an addon right now which shows radar chart. Though, we do have ‘reporting and analysis’ addon which you can use to create pie charts, bar charts, word count chart and box chart.

    Regards,
    Kriti
