Dmitry BolkhovetsParticipantI installed the Recaptcha addon on the site https://cthormonetherapy.com/. There are two quizzes on the home page. Recaptcha shows up but the problem is it can be ignored. You can just click next and proceed with the quiz without checking the checkbox. If you try to go back and the forward again, then it activates and requires answers. But on first attempt it can be ignored. Any solutions?
Also, can Recaptcha be shown only on the first screen and not for every question in case of one question per page setup?

KharisKeymasterHello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us here and reporting the issue. Are you running the latest version both QSM plugin and reCaptcha add-on?

Dmitry BolkhovetsParticipantYes, the QSM is up-to-date. The Recaptcha add-on is v. 1.0.1. When I purchased the add-on, you sent 1.0.0 and 1.0.1. Both are installed and the 1.0.1 is currently activated.

alex arafatParticipantI noticed the same issue after installing Recaptcha on my booster shots manchester blog — it appears on the quiz but can be bypassed on the first attempt. Only when navigating back and forward does it start working properly. Any idea how to enforce it from the start? Also, is there a way to show Recaptcha only on the first screen in a one-question-per-page setup?

heaue naietParticipantHi, I’ve seen a Captcha on https://nhsnumber.com
. It’s interesting to see how Captchas can help verify real users and protect forms from spam. Just like Captchas ensure online safety, accurate tracking and records are important in healthcare too — which is where NHS Numbers play a key role.December 21, 2025 at 9:41 am #16977
james charlesParticipantIt sounds like the Recaptcha behavior on your site is linked to how the quiz plugin handles page loads and form validation. On the first attempt, some quizzes may not trigger Recaptcha validation until the user navigates forward or interacts further, which can allow skipping the checkbox. To fix this:
Check plugin settings – Ensure Recaptcha is set to validate on form submission, not just on navigation between pages.
Custom scripting – Add JavaScript to force Recaptcha verification before allowing any “Next” button clicks on the first page.
Single-page quizzes – Most Recaptcha integrations allow you to display it only once. Configure the plugin to show Recaptcha on the first question/page and skip it on subsequent screens.
For WoW players, using Best ElvUI extensions can enhance your interface in similar ways—adding custom functionality, streamlining workflows, and improving responsiveness. Just like properly configuring Recaptcha ensures smooth form behavior, the right ElvUI extensions optimize gameplay efficiency and user experience.
